Dhaka University IT Society (DUITS) arranged a Technology Workshop and Inter Hall Quiz Competition adjoining with Samsung in TSC Auditorium, University of Dhaka on 7 May 2012. Dr. Harun Or Rashid, Co-Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University inaugurated the Workshop. A lot of IT Giants & Higher authority of Dhaka University was chaired there. Some of these honorable guests are the teachers of Dhaka University Institute of Information technology, Internet Security Expert Jabed Morshed and the President of Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum Kawsar Uddin also chaired this event to make this whole day luxurious and festive. The general secretary of DUITS Arif Dewan conducted the seminar.
A lot of other IT professionals and related enthusiasts were presented there to enlighten the Seminar as well. Samsung-DU Inter hall quiz competition was held by two days and almost the 17 halls of DU participated in that event actively.

After the opening ceremony; there are two workshops were conducted. The very first workshop was based on Internet Security and the main speaker was the assistant general secretary of Bangladesh Open Source Network Jabed Morshed.
The second workshop based on Outsourcing in Bangladesh was conducted by the DevsTeam. DevsTeam CFO Mr. Masudur Rashid and CMO Mr. Taher Chowdhury Sumon presented their informative slide about the Freelance Outsourcing in Bangladesh stuffs like the present condition of Outsourcing in Bangladesh, how to engage with this industry and what the best marketplace to do outsourcing jobs by staying at Bangladesh.
The CEO of DevsTeam Mr. Al-Amin Kabir presented a handbook named “Freelancing – How To Start It” for free to all DUians and to all the presents participants of DU-Samsung Inter Hall Quiz Competition who were presented in that Outsourcing Seminar. From this Outsourcing, Blogging and Freelancing Seminar; more than 500 students of Dhaka University got the basic idea about how to start a freelancing career from Bangladesh and what the stuffs they should consider while starting a job like this.
The DevsTeam mates also provided various speeches about how to start blogging professionally and what to do then along with where to go for an effective training if they want to start their next web based online money making business instantly.
At the closing ceremony of this Event; the Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University AAMS Arefin Siddique, President of BASIS Mahbub Zaman, the Advisor of Bangladesh Science & Technology Ministry Munir Hasan and Nazimuddin Ahmed of Samsung presented there.
The students got time to ask various questions to the DevsTeam about Freelancing in Bangladesh and the speakers answered those questions by providing various practical tips and tricks. Overall, the whole outsourcing seminar was rocked and banged by DevsTeam. And DevsTeam is planning to arrange more free seminars like this within shorter time to spread the knowledge to the Bangladeshi youths.
